Sorry, but no. There is zero justifiable reason for any sane person to find an inanimate object frightening. And the fact that Helmke would resort to this argument shows just how much of an intellectually bankrupt bigot he is. Of course we knew that he was just that all along, as he and his kind are always harping on said objects to the point that they don't have any problem with violent criminals roaming the streets as long as they allegedly can't get guns.
